The deciding factor in choosing the Aquajet was the cost of replacement parts. AquaBot (the other pool cleaner that I wanted to buy) had brushes and other moving parts that would need replacement over time. AquaJet on the other hand doesn't seem to have anything that would wear out routinely. |

I owned the standard aquabot for 5 years and only had to replace the belts and rubber brushes twice. The bag lasts forever, you just need to clean it with your garden hose after each use. The standard aquabot worked well but took sometime to clean my pool. The aquabot never had problems climbing the walls of my pool, as long as the bag wasn't full. Every now and then it would get stuck on the steps, so you had to keep an eye on it. |

"Love the rover! It is a GREAT pool cleaner with a LARGE removable cloth collection bag. The rover cleans quickly and thoroughly. Collection bag can be squirted off with a hose. The rover has memory and will remember the distance of the pool walls. Highly recommend this product! The only con we found was that over time the wheel washers and caps will work their way loose and fall off into the pool if you are not attentive. Easily replaced with parts at your local hardware store." |

The Aquabot Pool Cleaner gets your pool deep-down clean from floor to waterline in about an hour. The hands-free, self-contained, vacuum cleaning and water filtering robot will improve the circulation of pool chemicals and water temperature while increasing your pool filtration's efficiency and decreasing run time for energy savings. The Aquabot systematically cleans your entire pool from floor to waterline and everywhere in between in 60-90 minutes. Really excellent cleaner. |

I have recently decided to purchase the Aquabot Turbo after researching various models eg: dophins, tiger shark, and the original aquabot. I purchased my unit online for $975 USD including tax and shipping.
The product is pretty much plug and play, it takes less than 10 minutes for setup. Then the robot vaccum start to roam and clean. One annoyance is the insulated power cord. First of all the length of the power cord (~60ft) is limited to medium sized pool. Second, there are incidents where the cord get stuck as Aquabot roam over it. |

Aquabot reviews Aquabot Turbo Tempo is a fast, reliable machine that works and is reasonably priced. I have owned an Aquabot for many years of great service. The Aquabot Turbo cleans faster, twice as fast, than a basic Aquabot. If cost is a factor buy the regular Aquabot. Aquabot parts are available from many dealers. Try finding the cost for a replacement pump or motor for any other brand. All machines break sooner or later and I want to know the price of the most expensive parts up front. |

We had our backyard pool installed last spring and soon realized the need for a pool cleaner. We shopped around and decided on the AquaProducts Aquabot Turbo Pool Cleaner after reading reviews online of several models and brands of pool cleaners. I'll warn you up front: if you think a pool cleaner is going to be a small expenditure, think again. We paid just under $1,000 for the basic version of the Aquabot Turbo (we decided we could do without the remote control and extras). The local pool dealer wanted nearly $1,500 for this same model, not including tax, but fortunately, we looked around a bit on the Internet.

Pros: Remarkable design solves the problem of pools with lots of steps, seats, and curves. Cons: Needs repairs and customer service is poor. Cleaning bag is no fun. Expensive. The Bottom Line: Good machine for hard to clean pools, but newer designs are coming on the market and appear to be better.
I'm on my third Aquabot. The idea of the machine is perfect for my pool which looks like a natural pond rather than a swimming pool....a 6x12 wading area is on one side, while the main swimming lane is about 14 x 32...a spa is on the other side so the "Bot" has a tough job. However, company customer service is now and has always been poor. These guys just never answer the phone! Ordering parts is not easy, even with a parts list...and with this machine you will be ordering parts, lots of em.
Having lived through their R&D..this is where the public gets to refine the product at their expense...I have repeatedly found myself more than a little upset at paying high prices for parts that wear out yearly.

Aquabot Reviews Pros: Aquabot cleans great, climbs walls and brushes the waterline Cons: Prices of parts
Just replaced my old Mk V, with an Aquabot Turbo. I Bought the old Mk V used, and it lasted several years before dying. When I sent it to a service Center, they told me it was about 15 years old and was going to cost nearly $600.00 to repair!!! So I decided to take the plunge & buy a new one. It is so easy to use, just drop it in the pool & turn it on. It's a little work horse & does a great job of cleaning, including the walls & particularly the water line |
