Aquabot Reviews Pros: Aquabot cleans great, climbs walls and brushes the waterline
Cons: Prices of parts
Just replaced my old Mk V, with an Aquabot Turbo. I Bought the old Mk V used, and it lasted several years before dying. When I sent it to a service Center, they told me it was about 15 years old and was going to cost nearly $600.00 to repair!!! So I decided to take the plunge & buy a new one. It is so easy to use, just drop it in the pool & turn it on. It's a little work horse & does a great job of cleaning, including the walls & particularly the water line
The only complaints I have are the original price, and the prices for the parts are outrageous. I have a vinyl pool & therefore use the foam brushes. A set only lasts about 1/2 season, and they cost $60 to $75 a set!!!(depending on where you buy them) The Aquabot and the parts are way, way overpriced!! |
